NOTICE OF MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Tyler Junior College District will meet at 10:00 a.m. on the 26th day of January, 2012 in the Board Conference Room, White Administrative Services Center, at the College in the City of Tyler, Texas for the following purpose:

1. Work session on finances.
2. Discussion regarding proposed additional penalty on delinquent personal property taxes pursuant to Section 33.11 of the Texas Tax Code.
3. Update on campus projects.



NOTICE OF MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Tyler Junior College District will meet at 11:00 a.m. on the 26th day of January, 2011, in the Board Room, White Administrative Services Center, at the College in the City of Tyler, Texas, for the purpose of addressing the following agenda:

1. Consideration of resolution in memory of Ellis Smith.
2. Consideration of minutes of meetings held on November 17 and December 13, 2011.
3. Consideration of resolution authorizing an additional penalty on delinquent personal property taxes for tax year 2011 and subsequent years pursuant to Section 33.11 of the Texas Tax Code.
4. Presentation on academic foundations.
5. Consideration of interlocal election agreement between Smith County, City of Tyler, Tyler Independent School District, Tyler Junior College and Whitehouse Independent School District for conducting elections.
6. Consideration of monthly financial and investment reports.
7. President?s Report on upcoming events.
8. Closed meeting:
a. personnel matters (Government Code 551.074) including appointment, resignation, retirement and leave of absence of faculty and staff.
b. deliberation regarding real property (Government Code 551.072).
