NOTICE OF MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Tyler Junior College District will meet at 10:00 a.m. on the 21st day of August, 2008, in the Board Conference Room, White Administrative Services Center, at the College in the City of Tyler, Texas, for the purpose of addressing the following agenda:

1. Work session on budget.
2. Work session on finances.
3. Report on contract between Tyler Junior College and East Texas Symphony Orchestra Association to collaboratively perform the ?Nutcracker? ballet.
4. Discussion regarding properties on Porter Street.

a. consideration of renewal of agreement between Tyler Junior College and D.A.P. Delivery Service for the period August 1, 2008 to August 1, 2009.
b. consideration of establishing additional college standing committees (Academic Standards Committee and Assessment Committee).
14. President?s Report on upcoming events.
15. Closed meeting.
a. personnel matters (Government Code 551.074) including appointments, resignations, retirements and leaves of absence of faculty and staff.
